The Bar of Antwerp represents almost 3,000 lawyers from the province of Antwerp. We are located in the courthouses of Antwerp, Mechelen and Turnhout. Through the Legal Aid Office or BJB (Bureau Juridische Bijstand), we assign you a pro bono lawyer if you are entitled to one.
The legal profession is strictly regulated, so a lawyer cannot just do whatever he or she wants. You can also contact us if you find yourself embroiled in a dispute <\/a>with your lawyer.<\/p>\n

Everyone, regardless of income, family situation, profession, social status or financial resources is entitled to free first-line legal advice. The Commission for Legal Assistance can help you by phone or by appointment and will give you an answer to your simple legal questions.
